Meet and Greet event Friday 24th October

Hi folks - has anyone applied for a ticket to the "meet & greet" event on the friday night before Firefest and, if so, have you heard anything about it. I sent in an e-mail the day after it was announced and another one a week later but so far I have heard not a squeak. Anyone know what the position is??

I'm in the same situation. I'm wanting to book hotel rooms but as yet have not heard back.

My girlfriend and I are already coming down on Thursday cos we booked a hotel immediately when we thought it was going to be a 3 day event. We have dinner booked in the hotel onThursday but this seemed like a pretty damn cool way to spend Friday nightso we are really looking forward to the possibility!! Otherwise it's the casino!!

I have done the very same thing with the meet and greet, I emailed the same day as it was press released I think - it was on the Melodic Rock website - I am coming up on Friday anyway having booked the hotel from Friday until Sunday (leave Monday) but that is just to get over the travelling which usually takes most of the day so hopefully I will be bright eyed and bushy tailed for the Firefest.

I applied too but was so excited I didn't read the put in the tag line bit so had to do it twice! I figured that I wanted to be fresh for Saturday so booked the hotel for Friday anyway and like Sam leave on Monday. I cannot wait this will be my first FireFest and I am so happy at the line up - it has made my year so far!

Yep im in the same boat , noticed the news on mr.com and banged an email asap i was booked in for the 3 nights anyway but this is an awesome idea .
