Hi Heather
Britannia is fine. We stayed there last year. Breakfast was a bit mass produced but OK and it's only about 10 mins walk away. In addition there is a casino that you will pass on the way back (if that's of any interest). We got a great deal at the Hilton so we are being a bit up market this time and coming down on Thursday to make a long weekend of it.

Like Simon states, Britannia hotel is fine, stayed there last year......but had more than a few problems with the lift's.....enter them & you're on a mystery trip before you eventually stop at the correct floor, also the card key's they issue you are not great, well the one I had wasn't, took me umpteen attempts to enter room with the assisstance of the management in the end.....although might have had something to do with the gallon of swill consumed during the weekend :0).

Staying at the Comfort Hotel this year, had a pretty good deal there....I hope they realise what they're letting themselves into :0).......ROLL ON!!! next weekend.
