Britannia is fine. We stayed there last year. Breakfast was a bit mass produced but OK and it's only about 10 mins walk away. In addition there is a casino that you will pass on the way back (if that's of any interest). We got a great deal at the Hilton so we are being a bit up market this time and coming down on Thursday to make a long weekend of it.

well folks - we're in nottingham and have spent our first night in the Hilton. We have a small broom cupboard in one corner of what has to be the ugliest hotel I have ever stayed in. The bed is like a wooden box - absolutely solid so we have asked to be moved. Our room at the Britannia last year was a suite in comparison. Having said that, last night's meal was fab, breakfast was pretty damn good and the hotel facilities are second to none. OK, so this is turning into more of a blog entry but, hey, the meet and greet is tonight so we are both getting a little bit excited. It's like being a teenager again! Roll on 8.30! Well, that's enough for now, 3 hours in the gym,pool, sauna and jacuzzi calls us!! See you all later on!
