The Firefest Social Gathering
Firefest 6 !!!
Now, with great pleasure I present this statement from Kieran and Bruce and the Firefest Team:
MESSAGE FROM FIREFEST TEAM
"First of all, once again let us thanks all those participating in what has become more than just a show, but a wonderful social event for all fans of melodic hard rock. It really has become an opportunity to meet friends and like-minded fans from all over the world, and despite all the hard work put in months in advance, is always a pleasure to see the fun and enjoyment had by not just those in the audience, but also the bands on stage. We'd also like to give a massive heart-felt thanks to Graham Hatton and Simon Trott, both true fans of the scene who dug deep into their own pockets and each donated a considerable amount of money to Firefest, enabling us to bring in all the bands we wanted – especially Tall Stories – and also go ahead with the filming for several DVD releases next year. Thanks guys!!
The reaction and response to Firefest 5 has been fantastic, so really, how could we not do another one? However, we will most likely go back to a single day and pre-show … a full weekend was just a little too much for everyone. So yeah, there will be a Firefest 6 and I hope we can all get together once again and celebrate the music that we love!

I've barely recovered from the last one! Well, I'm very glad (and grateful) that Kieran, Bruce, Sue, Tony, etc have been brave enough to do this all over again. Good on you all. I shall definitely be making the trip again - wouldn't miss it for the world. See you all there.

Yes, this is fantastic news! I want to be there next year too so I need to start saving my money right now. Well, as soon as I pay off this Firefest, LOL! I can't wait to find out what the line-up will be but I would love to have Danny Vaughn by himself or with Vaughn not Tyketto since Brooke is out as I would love to hear Danny's solo songs live. I would also like to see Mitch Malloy, Loud and Clear, JSS and Tall Stories come back. I really enjoyed all the bands that were at Firefest V and want to thank the Firefest committee for putting on an unforgettable weekend!

It was indeed an unforgettable weekend . It was my first Firefest and I'm looking out for the next one .
If I can give some ideas for Firefest VI . I think about Joe lynn Turner, Jimi Jameson,Pride of Lions,Tony Harnell(missed him this year) , Heat with the original singer and Eclipse ( Are you ready to rock : great new album ! ) .
And in dreams Blanc Faces, Orion, 220 volt, nightranger, Lilian axe .
We'll see . It will be great anyway .

The best news.
Given that Kieran and Bruce are experts at reforming old bands I would have to say get Conny Bloom to reform the Electric Boys, especially since Hanoi Rocks are no more.
Would love to see Loud and Clear and White Sister from this years show along with maybe Dan Reed, Ratt or White Lion............

Fantastic news! It'd be great if Heat could return to play again with their own vocalist- mind you I wouldn't object to Eclipse & Brother Fire Tribe either lol! The suggestion of the Electric Boys was pretty cool too. Whoever plays I know it'll be a great event & I'm just happy it's continuing. cheers to all the Firefest crew for their hard work & dedication. See you there

Hi guys.....Its great to hear that Firefest 6 will be happening! You should start a suggestion box for the ultimate Firefest line up. A few suggestions for next year would be Theory of a Deadman, Hinder, Valentine (yet again) Mitch malloy(how cool is this guy) and how about the reformed Gun?
Has anyone else got a few ideas?

Just had another couple of ideas for next years line up.......... Soul Doctor and H.e.a.t. Soul Doctor were superb at Firefest 4 warm up night at the Nottingham student union. They deserve an invite back to perform on the big day. H.e.a.t also deserve another invite with their full time singer. Any Thoughts?
